Nourishing Joy Library
Take one slow breath.
Notice one thing you can see, one thing you can hear, and one thing you can feel.
You’re welcome to pause here for as long as you need.
The Joy Library is a growing collection of moments, memories, and experiences shared by heritage practitioners.
These stories capture the small sparks of joy that sustain people in their work. They relate to connection, discovery, creativity, humour, pride, relief, and everything in between.
You’re welcome to explore at your own pace. Each story is anonymous, and each one reflects a real moment of joy from someone working in the heritage sector.
If you’d like to add your own moment of joy, you can share it anonymously using the button below.
The project has forms set up to easily, safely, and anonymously record your stories. These are the best and easiest ways to submit to us.
However, we recognise that different people have different needs.
You can submit this reflection workbook using the online form, upload a file through the Media Submission Form, or email your worksheet directly to the project inbox.
The Media Submission Form accepts pdf, word documents, photos of written notes, audio, or artwork.
Remember, you are in control. You can submit as much or as little as you want — there is no required format or length.
